How TZA works
Receive a reminder about temporary no-parking zones for street cleaning or street occupancy permits.
Get a real-time alert when someone reports that your license plate # is at risk of being ticketed/towed.
Opt out of the entire service, or certain aspects of it, by texting "I'm out" to our number (844-997-4214).
TZA is an easy-to-use and free service. There's no app to download — rather, all interaction with the service happens over text with our phone number, 844-997-4214.
It's customizable and easy to opt out. You can add or remove relevant streets over text, and if you don't want a particular text-line that you initially opted in to, you can opt out by texting the number "No more [tip line name, e.g. what's happening, occupancy permit reminders]". Or you can opt out of the entire system by texting "I'm out".
It's improving and growing — every few months, we add a new feature that improves our effectiveness in helping people steer clear of illegal parking. Also, as our subscriber base grows, our real-time alerts become more effective and we can build a stronger case for why cities should support real-time illegal parking alerts.
