You scanned a TZA bumper sticker — what is this?!

If the owner is parked illegally, text in the license plate number to the TZA phone number, 844-997-4214. We'll search the license plate in our database and send a text message to the owner, warning them that someone reported that their vehicle is at risk of being ticketed or towed. We'll also ask them for the outcome. They'll text back a "1" if they moved their vehicle and avoided the penalty, "2" if they couldn't get to it in time and got the penalty, or "3" if they were incorrectly reported and weren't in fact parked incorrectly. After we receive 3 faulty reports from the same phone number, we'll have to stop processing your license plate reports, so please be careful!

Why we're doing this:

Bumper stickers increase the effectiveness of peer-to-peer real-time alerts. If a TZA member with a bumper sticker is parked incorrectly, an onlooker can quickly let them know by texting in their license plate to the TZA phone number. Even without a sticker, the current system supports this, but flagging vehicles registered with TZA should increase the odds that the system is used. Second, we hope more people will find out about TZA through the sticker, and the TZA community grows!

We offer magnetic and adhesive bumper stickers. Both are durable and at least 3" by 10" (exact size depends on the manufacturer). Bumper stickers are free (or pay what you want)! We ask that you pay something if you order more than one! 🙂
